There have never been more great reasons to consider getting married in Costa Rica. I have a decade long love affair with this country, it’s people and it’s amazing wedding offerings. Here are my top 5 Reasons to marry in Costa Rica.
1. Flowers and More Flowers
There is nothing like Costa Rica for the most spectacular colour palette of flowers for your wedding day celebration. You can’t get any better than a bridal bouquet made from the stunning array of natural flowers such as Red Ginger, Stargazer Red and orange lilies. Why not throw in some dark purple orchids into some Gerber daisies for a traditional pop floral bouquet. Birds of Paradise are ever so popular as well but brides have no need to worry as Costa Rica has every colour and style under the sun to create your perfect wedding bouquets.
2. Adventure Travel
Adventure travel is all day long when you plan your destination wedding to Costa Rica. You are going to want to work with your destination wedding agent firsthand in deciding what types of activities you may want to do with your guests before choosing your resort.

The scenery is breathtaking here in Costa Rica. Rolling green hills and bountiful flora and fauna are everywhere you look. It’s no wonder Costa Rica is becoming increasingly popular for UK Destination wedding couples.
I’ll never forget the cool find of a “Blue Jean” frog on a trip down to Manuel Antonio. It is named this way due to its vibrant blue lower half and candy apple red upper half. The mystical volcano at Arenal shapes the landscape in wondrous hues of blue and green. And don’t forget it’s an active volcano with a steady heated mist rising from the top on any given morning. 4. Culture and People
Culture and its people – What can I say about the people of Costa Rica other than they are the warmest friendliest people ever. Though very modest means they keep a very high standard in education, appearance and rich culture.
