Dreams Los Cabos Golf Resort & Spa
Ideal for: Couples looking for a more private location that has a beautiful gazebo and beachfront area.
Dreams Los Cabos resort may seem uninspiring at first, but the charm of this luxury resort will change your mind very quickly. When it comes to food, all three meals can be had at the nautically decorated Seaside Grill and El Patio by the pool. The latter offers a diverse buffet menu that ranges from Tex Mex to spicy Caribbean fare. For lunch and dinner, Oceana specializes in seafood, while the atmosphere is made even more elegant thanks to an adults-only policy. Himitsu serves a sushi menu and Asian pan dinners featuring favorites from the likes of China, Japan, and Thailand. There is also a coffee shop for deli treats and lattes. Also, room service is available at all hours.
As for the stunningly blue Sea of Cortez out back, look but don’t touch is the rule: The tide is too strong for safe swimming here. But the palapas with hammocks on the beach are an excellent place to relax. The main pool, which features a swim-up bar and an infinity edge, is linked to a smaller pool below by a water slide. There is also a substantial party-size whirlpool. Hotel grounds offer facilities for crochet, bocce and table tennis, and eight golf courses are nearby. The nonstop activity calendar includes diversions for all ages. So, your guests will be able to enjoy tennis, water aerobics and dance lessons to trampolines, cooking classes, and video game tournaments on a large, outdoor screen. When you stay at Dreams Los Cabos, you can take a shuttle to Cabo San Lucas, which runs five to seven times daily.
Furthermore, the guest rooms, which range from 650-sq-ft junior suites to two-bedroom suites, are in a traditional resort style. You will find natural wood furnishings, four-poster beds, and gleaming marble floors. In junior suites, swagged curtains separate the sleeping areas from the living areas, which have sofa beds and pedestal tables with two side chairs.
