Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun Summary
Ideal for: Wedding couples seeking an upscale resort that caters to all; children, couples and families. Those with a taste for the authentic will love that this resort uses the natural elements of its surroundings to create a sublime holiday location.
Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun is so called because of the surrounding shades of blue, from the clear turquoise ocean to the royal blue of the evening skies. Throughout, the resort is very much in keeping with its natural surroundings. Featuring elements of thatch, cool marble, chunky wood and winding waterways. The resort is open to the cool ocean breeze, and while beautifully authentic, it is indeed a sophisticated and luxurious place to be.
There are a vast array of activities to keep everyone amused both day and night. Children will have adventures galore while couples make lasting memories from a first tennis lesson to a couples massage at the spa. Mealtimes can be spent at any one of the eight distinctive restaurants. My favourite is the Bluewater Grill, where seafood specialities are expertly prepared to melt in the mouth. An international buffet restaurant caters to everyone and just when you think you couldn’t eat another thing, a trip to the delightful Coco Café will have you picking out a sweet treat.
Each of the 496 spacious junior suites are luxuriously designed with the continuing theme of cool marble floors and authentic furnishings. Add to that a full bathroom, bathrobe and slippers and bath amenities by Gilchrist & Soames, and you’ll feel more than at home.
Weddings here are just lovely! We love the tequila terrace for receptions which offers privacy and the most amazing views of the ocean, simply stunning at night when lit with twinkly lights.
