Valentin Imperial Maya Summary
Ideal for: Couples looking for an adults-only resort that has beautiful architecture and a massive pool that’s perfect for relaxation.
Firstly, this outstanding adults-only, all-inclusive property located on one of the Riviera Maya’s most beautiful beaches-Playa del Secreto (The Secret Beach). So, like its competitors, Valentin Imperial Maya serves only adults, which is excellent news for mature travellers in search of an elegant and tranquil escape.
Facilities
Furthermore, the Valentin Imperial Maya has an impressive array of services. These amenities include nine full-service restaurants, 13 bars, a spa, and ample recreational options and accommodations. Golf carts are available to whisk guests to and fro, though well-lighted paths connect the common areas and rooms.
When it comes to restaurants, guests can drop in for Italian, Indonesian-Peruvian, Japanese, French, or Mexican cuisine, or they can create a personal dining tour by having an appetizer in one, the main course in another, and dessert in a third. The food quality is excellent. There is also a bar at the theatre, where nightly shows entertain guests with pop, Broadway, local culture, and skits with the adult-oriented subject matter.
Recreation focuses on the beach, the pools, and the spa. The lack of adolescents means that all of the four pools, including the sprawling main plunge, are frequently as tranquil as the open sea. The beach is a beautiful stretch of white sand, but the minefield of rocks offshore makes packing a pair of cheap plastic sandals worthwhile.
Also, many guests arrive on romantic spa packages that include couples massages. The impressive list of spa treatments also comprises local remedies and herbal salves. Another bonus is the yoga and pilates classes that are available, as are daily poolside water aerobics. All nonmotorized watersports included in the all-inclusive rates, and bars beside the pool and beach are a nice touch.
Rooms
Lastly, the rooms. The accommodations are some of the nicest at any of the all-inclusive resorts in the area. What I love about the Rooms is they combine colonial-contemporary style with fabulous furnishings. Also, you and your guests will be able to choose rooms that offer balconies or terraces, roomy layout, and even room service! Comparatively, there are 12 formal suites, with large living rooms and spacious bedrooms. Guests subscribing to the Valentin Club get extra perks, preferred dining reservations, complimentary entrance to the spa, and champagne minibars. Talk about luxury!
