Within these two all-inclusive resorts, you have 840 lovely Superior room categories. Along with 100 Jr suite Oceanfront rooms, 12 family suites. And 12 in my favourite category, the oceanfront Suites. These two properties share two large pools, a wide variety of restaurants. And best of all, you have complete sharing privileges with the Maya Beach and Caribe.

Maya Beach and Caribe are very similar resorts to the Colonial and Tropical. Here you will share 849 Superior rooms. They have 137 Jr suite Oceanfront rooms. And you’ll also find swim-up suites within this section. This area also offers family suites. They lend themselves well to extended family. It often depends on which supplier you book in that provides these four all-inclusive resorts. They price very similarly. And all offer a wonderful selection of restaurants, pools and bars. Similarly, you have sharing privileges with Maya Colonial and Tropical.

The Maya Palace Resort is the highest level all-inclusive family section of the Barcelo Maya Grand Resort. It offers 606 Jr Suites. Many offering stunning oceanfront views. There are six families suites, perfect for wedding guests bringing children. And additionally, those bringing the extended family. The Maya Palace also offers two presidential suites. These suites wonderful for small functions such as a pre-wedding cocktail hour.

With this all-inclusive resort, you’ll stay in one and play at five. One of the main differences with Barcelo Maya Palace resort is the view. You’ll have the option to book Garden view or Oceanview. All premium rooms have stunning ocean views. You’ll find Garden views on the back end. And to note, all swim-up suites are premium level. Here you will also find a massive infinity pool. And to top it off, a spectacular wide stretch of divine beachfront.
Amazing 5 Star Amenities
Head over to the Music Bar is for a fun day of partying. Or head over to the swim-up pool where you can relax your days away. You’ll find stunning artwork throughout the property. And the facilities are simply amazing. There are four a la carte restaurants and five premium alcohol bars. My favourite is Agave, where the Mexican food is heavenly. The tacos are the best in Mexico here! Supora Japanese and Peruvian food will fill your senses with international flavours. And don’t forget the Chill out area. It comes complete with your own party DJ. Not to mention a disco located right on the property. There is even a disco located on the property.

The list of amenities within these six properties is endless. So I’ll note some of my favourites. And trust me, there are so many more to choose from. For families, you’ll enjoy Minigolf, a Pirate Island for children, Surf Pool Surf Rider, and a Diving Centre just for starters.
To add to this, you’ll enjoy a six-lane bowling alley and full-size soccer field. These are two of my top recommendations for group activities. And you’ll enjoy hours of entertainment and shopping at the Maya Mall. It’s all just so much fun!

There are again so many different sports you can enjoy within this amazing holiday complex. Two tennis courts and 2 paddle courts are available. Perfect for the tennis players in your group. Water aerobics is ongoing in each of the resorts main swimming pools. Then get ready to play a group game of beach volleyball. On one of the whites stretches of beach in Mexico. Next, you enjoy water polo, table tennis, badminton and much more. For the golfers in your group, there are both 9 and 18 hole golf courses located nearby. In both Puerto Aventuras and Playa del Carmen.
3) Spa Heaven
The U Spa is a divine centre to enjoy the day in and out. You’ll want to check with your travel specialist in regards to what room you book as several room categories include complimentary access to the water areas within the spa. I’ve spent many an afternoon here while on holiday. And it’s a fabulous way to relax. And unwind all while enjoying that beautiful Mexican sun.
For children, they have thought of it all. The Spa includes a children’s only spa. I can’t think of anything more fun than taking your children over to the kid’s spa. Kids can enjoy a mani-pedi and all kinds of other treatments, with children’s fun in mind. It’s a pampering treat your children will never forget.

Then what’s not to love about 15 bars. All conveniently located throughout the six all-inclusive properties. Each resort has sharing privileges with at least three other resorts within the complex. And the Riviera Maya Adults only offers dining and bar privileges at all six resorts!

Conclusion -The future of weddings abroad
Firstly, we’ve discovered through this blog that couples still want to get married abroad. It’s so much fun for family and friends. Secondly, it gives couples, and their treasure guests extended time to get to know each other. Because often so many guests travel from different areas to your destination wedding venue. It’s a great way to start new lifelong family relationships and friendships.
Thirdly, we know resorts worldwide are doing their part to keep our loved ones safe while travelling.
