We want your wedding to go perfectly, so we have some suggestions to help that happen. Below are 10 tips for a future destination bride by a past bride herself! If you have any questions, let us know in the comments below.
Pick the Destination of YOUR Dreams. – Always ask for suggestions but at the end of the day pick the place that you want.
Don’t Stress About the People Not Coming. – It happens with every wedding, don’t worry, that’s life.
Trust the Agent. – They have booked many weddings and will book much more, trust their opinion.
Be Clear to Your Wedding Coordinator. – If you have a particular vision in your head, make sure you make that clear.
Have Someone Take Charge. – Whether it’s your mother, maid of honour, or someone else, make sure they can handle the stressful tasks on your special day.
Try Not to Stress – I know you are going to stress, but do your best to relax and enjoy the special moments
If You Feel It, Another Bride Has as Well. – You may get this feeling that no one is going through everything that you are but just remember that every bride goes through some version of how you feel.
Same Stress, Different Location. – If you think that a destination wedding is going to be more stressful than one at home, you are mistaken. Weddings are going to be stressful no matter what.
Don’t Be Upset with This Line – “This is my wedding, not a vacation.” – Remember that a destination wedding is supposed to be the perfect combination of fun and romance. If people are going to have a fun time, doesn’t mean they have forgotten it’s your wedding.
Stay an Extra Few Days. – After all your guests head home, stay an extra few days and enjoy them with your husband. Thank me later.
