A wide variety of water sports are available in and around Carlisle Bay: complimentary sailing, kayaking, snorkelling, windsurfing and paddleboarding, all with a team of expert staff to show you the ropes. For thrill-seekers, motorized activities such as water skiing, wakeboarding and tubing take place in a neighbouring cove to preserve the tranquillity of the bay. Scuba diving courses are available and, as one would expect, sailing is one of the main attractions. It’s also a fabulous way to see a few of the 365 beaches for which Antigua is famed. If you’re happier on land than in the ocean, join a hike and get a bird’s eye view of Antigua’s southern coastline. Carlisle Bay is the only hotel on the Island to offer hilltop treks through the rainforest. What’s more, zip-line sessions can be arranged.
