When it comes to food, all three meals can be had at the nautically decorated Seaside Grill and El Patio by the pool. The latter offers a diverse buffet menu that ranges from Tex-Mex to spicy Caribbean fare. Oceana specializes in seafood for lunch and dinner, while the atmosphere is made even more elegant thanks to an adults-only policy. As for the stunningly blue Sea of Cortez out back, look but don’t touch is the rule: The tide is too strong for safe swimming here. But the palapas with hammocks on the beach are an excellent place to relax. The main pool, which features a swim-up bar and an infinity-edge, is linked to a smaller pool below by a water slide. There is also a substantial party-size whirlpool. Hotel grounds offer facilities for crochet, bocce and table tennis, and eight golf courses are nearby. When you stay at Dreams Los Cabos, you can take a shuttle to Cabo San Lucas, which runs five to seven times daily.
