Anse Chastanet Resort Summary

Ideal For: Adventurous couples that focus on being surrounded by nature.

The owner and architect, Nick Troubetzkoy, created this resort between two soft sand beaches, encompassing 600 acres of lush tropical jungle within a World Heritage Site. The resort’s two crystal-clear bays are part of a designated marine reserve protecting miles of colourful coral reefs teeming with tropical fish. It is a paradise, plain and simple! Nick has created a resort that highlights the foliage and the views of the Pitons and Sea alongside the natural birdsong, which is an integral part of the experience.

Readers of Caribbean Travel & Life magazine have, on more than one occasion, voted Anse Chastanet to be one of the Caribbean’s “Most Romantic Resorts”, and we couldn’t agree more. The 1/4 mile Anse Chastanet beach, with its gently rolling waves, has several great areas to offer for a ceremony. However, the secluded Anse Mamin beach is our favourite. Once guests, the registrar and the groom have arrived and the ceremony is ready to proceed, the bride will make a grand entrance by water taxi. If you’re celebrating your marriage with a smaller group and are looking for somewhere private and rustic, look no further than the treehouse, an open-style structure which clings to the cliffside while surrounded by treetops. Best of all, it overlooks Anse Chastanet Beach and the Caribbean Sea. Just stunning! If you would like more information regarding this beautiful resort, please click on the below link:

Many activities are on offer at Anse Chastanet. Located on the Caribbean coastline, the Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin beaches are perfect for sunbathing and swimming in calm, crystal-clear waters and tranquil pools. For those who like to stay active, there’s an array of water sports on offer, excellent snorkelling and scuba diving right offshore. What’s more, the resort’s 42-foot Gulfstar sailing yacht, ‘Serenity’, can take you out on full-day, half-day or sunset sailing trips.

Some of the best dining in Soufriere, St. Lucia, can be found at Anse Chastanet. An enticing selection of cuisine is available at several intimate hillside and beachside restaurants. Or, you can pre-book private dining at the water’s edge, overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Culinary options also include the Indian restaurant Apsara, a wholly vegetarian restaurant called Emerald’s and, last but not least, the Jungle Grill for laid-back dining on the beach.

Anse Chastanet offers just 49 individually designed rooms. As such, this resort maintains an intimate, boutique feel. We love that most of the Rooms are dotted about the lush hillside, where you can enjoy spectacular views, the sounds of nature and an ambience that couldn’t be more romantic. So, if you are looking for something a bit unique, we recommend the rooms that are partially open to the verdant jungle landscape. They offer an unforgettable experience and are the reason so many guests return time and time again.
